How we collect, use, and protect your information

Effective Date: February 20, 2026

Introduction

Propel Legal LLC ("Propel Legal," "we," "us," or "our") is a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Idaho. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information.

This Privacy Policy applies to our website, assessment tools, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

  • Contact information — name, email address, phone number, and city when you complete our assessment or contact us
  • Firm details — firm size, practice area, revenue range, realization rate, technology affinity, billing methods, and motivation for seeking optimization
  • Assessment responses — your answers to our 5-pillar capability assessment, including computed scores and maturity level

Information collected automatically:

  • Usage data — pages visited, time on site, referring URL, and interaction patterns collected through analytics tools
  • Device information — browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and general geographic location (city/region level)
  • Cookies and similar technologies — we use cookies and analytics tracking (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our site and to improve the experience. See "Cookies" below for more detail.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Generate your personalized assessment report and maturity score
  • Follow up with you regarding your results, recommended services, and relevant offerings
  • Improve our Services, assessment methodology, and content
  • Analyze aggregate trends across assessments to refine our optimization framework
  • Communicate with you about Propel Legal services, updates, and educational content
  • Comply with legal obligations

How We Store and Protect Your Information

Your assessment data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud-hosted database platform with built-in encryption at rest and in transit. We implement row-level security policies to restrict data access.

While no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, we use commercially reasonable measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews.

Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers — trusted third parties that help us operate our Services (e.g., database hosting, analytics, email delivery), who are contractually bound to protect your data
  • Legal requirements — when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Propel Legal, our users, or the public
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case your information may be transferred as part of that transaction

Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to:

  • Analyze site traffic and usage patterns through analytics services
  • Remember your preferences and improve your experience
  • Understand how visitors interact with our content

You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some functionality of the site.

Analytics: We use third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) that collect anonymized usage data. These tools may use their own cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
